My Discipline Plan

Rules are established and enforced the first day of school.  The students must know what appropriate and inappropriate class-time behavior is.  Some helpful tips:

bullet

Let students contribute in making the rules and consequences.  This will add significance and justification to the class rules.

bullet

Create a stress free and secure atmosphere by using cooperative learning activities, team building games, and social skills development activities.

bullet

Routines and procedures are also to be implemented and practiced on the first day of school.  This will inform the students of what they are to do during normal everyday situations, such as, going to the bathroom, not feeling well, a ball going on the roof, etc.
